Finance and Office Administrator Job Description

Full Time: Monday – Friday 09.00 – 17.30

We are a very busy Audio Visual Company, supplying Large Screens, TVs, Audio systems, commercial Satellite and Aerial installations, equipment and services to blue chip companies including clients such as Eurostar, Bidfood, Toolstation, Greene King and many more based near Langport Somerset with teams working all over the UK and Europe, this is a great opportunity to join our friendly team and would be ideal for someone looking to work in a busy technology based environment. You MUST have office experience and knowledge with Sage 50 Accounting this is essential

We are looking for some who is keen and interested to join our team in a senior finance and office administration role.

Finance and Office Administrator Job Description:

  • Maintaining sage 50 accounting package, including processing all entries
  • Project financial control and invoicing
  • Monthly bank reconciliations
  • Supplier negotiation, engagement, payments, ensuring deliveries are onsite and on time
  • Sub-contractor network negation and engagement
  • Supporting sales team with projects
  • Dealing with client requests and queries
  • Preparing monthly and quarterly reconciliations of balance sheet & nominal accounts
  • Manage and process staff expenses, petty cash and credit cards
  • Monthly management accounts preparation
  • Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
  • Autonomy to implement systems improvements
  • Regular engagement with company accountants
  • Adhoc requests of a finance & project nature from the Directors

  • The ability to work on your own initiative
  • Experience of working within a busy reactive environment
